My paintings are a quest for knowledge, philosophy, and mastery of provocative form.  I search constantly for the fine line between abstract and understandable.  The resulting work is finished and yet unfinished at the same time, thereby evoking a captive energy that has neither origin nor endpoint.  Through this hybrid of real vs. conceived I seek to shift perception, often mixing the figure with transient light sources, in pursuit of physically appealing work, metaphorical in tone.
